Overview
The hotel's main focus is art, and it blends modern design and artwork with its historic setting. The 126 rooms differ in size and amenities, such as balconies and views. The Art District Rooms feature custom designs by artists working at one of the hotel's six ateliers. Sea view options look out over the marina, while others offer views of the fortress or courtyard. Triples sleep up to three with a sofa bed, and the Sea View Suite and Presidential Suite include bathtubs as well as showers. If you want to take in the fresh sea breeze, the Sea View Suite, Presidential Suite, and some Superior options all have balconies.
Pestana Cidadela Cascais incorporates art into its space, as it has a proper art district within its walls. Besides the resident artists' studios and installations, there are two museums on the premises. Enjoy the artwork in public areas, such as the terrace and courtyard, or from the indoor and outdoor pools. If you're looking to relax after exploring the area, book a treatment at the on-site spa or enjoy a meal at one of the hotel's two restaurants.
