Seth Santo Tomás, Menorca
A hotel in a large resort with three eateries, an outdoor pool, and a spa
Overview
Kimkim's Take
- You'll be right on the beach in the small community of Santo Tomás, which creates a pretty quiet, relaxed stay.
- The hotel sits directly on trails stretching up and down the coast in either direction.
- All the rooms look out toward the sea or over the property's garden, and many offer private terraces.
- There are three different eateries on the property, plus others within the whole Seth resort complex and bordering hotels.
- You can enjoy the outdoor pool and sundeck, and all guests get free access to the hotel's spa, which has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room.
- As a Seth guest, you can also access some of the other amenities on the resort, including the outdoor gym and kids' play area, which includes waterslides.
- Though there are some perks to staying in a big resort, the sprawling property makes up a large portion of the community and might not appeal to everyone or feel totally authentic.
Authenticity
Seth Santo Tomás gets authenticity from its hospitality and location. The hotel prides itself on building relationships with its visitors, which mirrors Menorca's homey, welcoming energy. And since it's right on the coast, the property mixes the colors, textures, and energy of the sea into its rooms and common areas.Location
Seth Santo Tomas sits right on the coast with direct access to the beach, which also connects to a few hiking paths leading to coves, beaches, and viewpoints. The coastal stroll to Punta d’Atàlis takes just 25 minutes, or you can head in the other direction and reach Platja Binigaus in about 15 minutes. The path eventually leads to the famous Cala Mitjana, but you could also drive there in 20 minutes. Both Ciutadella de Menorca and Mahón are a half-hour drive away.Rooms & Bathrooms
There are 99 total rooms across 12 different room types, so you have plenty of choices. All have a fairly causal look, light tones, and wood or stone-tile floors. You'll find natural colors that bring Menorca into the room with you, including turquoise for the sea, golden brown for the cliffs and sand, and gray for the stones and stormy skies. Rooms have sea or garden views, and some feature private terraces with sun loungers and/or hot tubs.Other Highlights
You'll find three eateries on the property: a buffet restaurant with open-air dining, a waterfront restaurant with sea views, and a cozy bar with stately furniture overlooking the pool. When not swimming in the sea, you can relax at the outdoor pool, sun terrace, gym, or spa, free for all guests. The entire resort offers more amenities, and as a Seth guest, you can access many of them, from other restaurants and spas to a kids' playground and pool with waterslides.Like what you see?
