• The property is exquisite and has a unique and appealing design that aims to mimic the island's rugged environment and uses arches to draw natural light.
• All the rooms have sea views, and many offer private pools or terraces with personal hot tubs. 
• You can take your meals at one of the three restaurants, all featuring local cuisine, though one has a raw-food theme, the other a traditional Menorcan theme, and the third a seafood grill. 
• There are a few spaces to relax, including a large sundeck with loungers surrounding the outdoor pool, a few outdoor and indoor lounges, and a rooftop terrace with another pool, though this space is reserved for those booking specific rooms.
• The spa is a nice perk with many amenities, including an entire water circuit with cool, warm, and hot pools, plus a sauna and hammam. 

Cons

• It's a pretty big property with almost 160 rooms, so it can feel a little busy during the high season. 
• Some rooms on one side of the hotel overlook the parking lot, although you still get a glimpse of the sea. 

Authenticity

Villa Le Blanc (a Gran Meliá hotel) describes itself as "a white stone refuge overlooking the Mediterranean Sea." The builders chose this white stone to blend in with the hotel's natural environment and used a traditional architectural style to welcome as much natural light as possible. The colors, decor, and design all bring the appeal of Menorca into the rooms and common areas. 

Location

This Gran Meliá Hotel sits directly atop the sea cliffs and beaches of Santo Tomás, offering direct access to the surf and the coastal trail that wraps around Menorca. Your daily views will be overlooking the sea and the area's scenic coastline. You'll be right between two beaches, Platja de San Adeodato and Platja de Santo Tomás, both a quick five-minute walk from the hotel. The town is also right between the island's two cities, so a 30-minute drive takes you to Ciutadella de Menorca in one direction and Mahón in the other.
