Angel was fabulous! Unfortunately, my trip was shortened considerably because I fell and fractured my ankle. In 2 places. The 2 excursions I did go on were both led by great guides. The 2 hotels were nice and staff very helpful.

Angel was prompt at picking us up and arranging the daily events.
Eduardo was a great driver and very knowledgeable.

We had such enjoyable experiences on our trip to Chile with our family and cousins spending the first 8 days in Santiago attending the 2023 Parapan Am Games to watch our son and his team 🇨🇦 athletes compete and medal in Goalball 💕and touring around an amazing city. From there we coordinated 6 days of tours and transfers with Angel and greatly appreciated the personalized service he provided us with from boating out to see the Penguins in Zapallar, visiting the Vina Del Mar beaches, watching a beautiful sunset (thanks to Alex) as well as Sandboarding on the Dunes in Concon, next we visited Valparaiso with Magdalena on an awesome food and wine oriented Gastronomic tour. We then ventured on our first ever Traditional Cooking class with Sebastian that we so very much enjoyed and also fit in a wine tour in the Casablanca Valley that also included lunch. And last but not least have rave reviews for Eduardo our driver who was fantastic and as we made our way back to Santiago enjoyed a few stops including to check out a 1.4km (I believe) pool that is oceanfront and to another locale (the name escapes me) for a fantastic lunch and some last minute shopping in the village shops!

Thanks so very much Angel, Eduardo, Alex, Magdalena, Sebastian (and his sous chef) for creating such awesome experiences for us to remember for years to come!!

We had a great time on our trip. The guides and drivers are vey courteous, punctual, and helpful. All hotels are nice and located centrally so very convenient for us to explore the town. They all include breakfast except the Metal in El Chalten. However, they have a kitchenette which worked out great. The tours were nice. We enjoyed the Torres del Paine tour, the Nativo tour El Chalten, the trek to Esmeralda Lake in Ushuaia the best as we like outdoor activities. The highlights of our trip were the hike to Laguna Torres and Laguna de Los tres. Over all we glad we booked the tour

Paul was amazing!

The quality of the tour guides really made this trip special. I had private or very small group tours, and this made for some amazing conversation and learning. My guide in Santiago and Valparaiso, Dominique, provided lots of knowledge and was simply fun to hang out with and talk about differences in Chilean and American culture. The private dinner was the highlight of the trip with fantastic food, wine, and conversation. The Andes hike was also a highlight with only the small group being on the trail--we had the mountains to ourselves! There was a great snack served at the end. The wine tours were of course incredible with high quality wine and a beautiful hotel at Santa Rita. And Rapa Nui was a wonderful experience--I loved the personal touches especially breakfasts at Hotel Taara and the guide was excellent at changing the itinerary when the weather was not great my first day of touring. I loved having a week to spend on the island. The people there are friendly and welcoming and the ceviche the best I have had anywhere!

Lorena planned a wonderful two weeks in Chile for us. We experienced several exciting things in this diverse country. We enjoyed the funkiness of Valparaiso with a cooking class. The hike in the Maipo Valley with Sebastian was slightly challenging for us 71 year olds but enjoyable. We were always looked after.
Our time in the Atacama Desert did not disappoint. Highlights there included seeing flamingos at Chaxa Lagoon. We also loved the e-bike trip into the desert and the dune buggy trip (both with On Safari Atacama).
The scenery in Patagonia is breathtaking. We had Anna as a terrific guide during an all-day tour in Torres Del Paine. The fjord cruise in Patagonia was very enjoyable. Highlights of the cruise included beautiful scenery, wildlife sightings, delicious lunch, and whiskey served with glacial ice!
Our only disappointment was the cancellation of our cruise to Magdalena Island in Punta Arenas (to see the penguins) due to the weather. It was a last-minute thing, and we were left to fill the day ourselves.
We have used KimKim many times for our trip planning. They did a great job with this one!

Our driver for this day was late arriving for pick up at the hotel as well as picking us up from the cooking class. We think he was either drunk or very hung over as he drove erratically at times and needed to stop at a wayside for over half an hour. We regret not reporting this earlier.

Great guide, didn't like getting up so early. Not sure if it was as spectacular as I anticipated.

Jesse was great, Responsive, accommodating and very easy to work with. We talked through the places that we wanted to visit, the pace of the trip and the activities and it worked out great.

Be patient with the organizer but at the same time, do not have stuff "fall into the cracks" It was a very good and diverse trip during my week there. My only regret was to have listened to his hotel recommendations (apparently they were close to the metro). Felt very safe and secure. The other tourists also made this trip very memorable. Would highly recommend Angel.

I wish the weather was not hot; it was almost 30 degrees C and I felt really tired after doing the tasting and walking around the vineyard. I wish there was no smog that covered much of the city. I also went to Los Domingoes and got some souvenirs.

We had a wonderful trip to Chile and greatly enjoyed the fantastic accommodations in Santiago, Atacama and Vina del Mar. Tours and tour guides were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the personal tour of the Moon Valley Andes hike and tour of the Atacama Desert. Both were a wow! Jesse did a great job and was readily available to answer any questions and make modifications in real time when needed. All guides and transfers were on time and friendly! In principle the personal Chilean dinner in someone's home was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it (it took more than an hour to get there, the food was marginal, and it didn't completely meet our dietary restrictions). Jessie's attention to detail was very good and I would use her again!

Ana helped me to develop a packed itinerary for the short amount of time I had in the Patagonia region. Within 6 days I was able to depart Buenos Aires and go to El Calafate, then Puerto Natales to see two stunning locations and she packed in several activities! Kayaking, glacier mini-trekking, a full day tour/ safari, and a low key hike. I even saw two pumas! and much other Patagonia flora and fauna. It was a VERY busy itinerary, but was amazing.

Angel and his contacts were attentive and helpful. We are experienced travelers, but the logistics around getting from the airport in Puerto Natales to our various hikes and trips to and from the Torres del Paine were a bit overwhelming when planning on short notice. Everything went off without a hitch. We were able to message the local team and have them deliver trekking poles to our hotel last minute, our rides were on time, and generally everything was accounted for. I would definitely use Kim Kim for a future trip.

Chile is a wonderful place to visit, and Jessie did a fantastic job accommodating our changing minds during the planning process and keeping up with us during our trip. I would recommend that if you’re doing back to back hikes in the park, do the Torres de Paine Massif first. (Strenuous) . Isla Magdalena was definitely magical.

This was interesting because we didn’t know what to expect. First trek was fun and scenic, though the guide seemed to think it was a race. Second trek (waterfall, hike to horns) was beautiful, and we got left behind while taking pictures of the scenery that the guide seemed to take for granted. You can’t really get lost, though, as there’s 1 trail in and out. Third trek was more strenuous, but doable. Take a jacket, as that wind goes right to your bones.

However, location is a negative (3 Km from town, on a very dark and dusty road), especially considering the fact that is EXTREMELY difficult to get taxis in San Pedro de Atacama. Every night it was a nightmare returning from dinner to the hotel. Avoid until they set up a transportation alternative to downtown.

This was our first time contacting a third party to plan a long celebration trip. Traveling to Chile, was a dream come true, and Kim Kim, couldn't have planned better. First, they were extremely responsive and dedicated from the start, listening to all my requests and answering my questions in terms of schedule, sites and season to visit, all in a timely manner. Second , we were ready for our trip with enough time ahead, no concerns about bookings, internal flights, or schedule. Third, once we got there, everything worked like a precision clock. The instructions were accurate, the transfers punctual, the hotels great, the guides and tours AMAZING!!!. This is definitely the best way to plan a once in a lifetime trip, or even a short one. Worth every penny. We had a taste of everything we wanted, it was an extremely busy trip with multiple internal flights and activities, yet we never felt overwhelmed or stressed. I also have to say that Paul went above and beyond when we forgot essential meds in our first hotel.

Penguin Colony on Magdalena Island

This tour was truly spectacular. The boat was small, accommodating only around seventy people, which gave it a more intimate feel. The penguins were incredibly active in the morning, and it was exciting having to stop walking just to let them pass by! The guide was very knowledgeable, presenting facts about the animals in both Spanish and English. The tour also included a visit to Isla Martha where we got to see massive sea lions and a variety of birds. This experience was an absolute highlight of my trip.

Hike to the Base of the Towers - Overnight in Torres del Paine

Chile

This self-guided hike was one of the best things I've ever done. The route finding was easy and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I got to see a glacier over 100 square miles and hear it cracking in the distance, which was truly inspiring. The refugios (shelters) had a dorm-style living which was a new experience for me. I would definitely recommend this hike but would suggest better packing and preparation for the dorm-style living.

This was a wonderful trip for us. We just love it! The planning was great and reasonable! Thanks to Angel Gutierrez, who planned our trip and responded our inquiries/questions quickly no matter day or night, literally. Angel is just so helpful. I think that he not only did his job requirement but way beyond: such as on-spot translation via phone when we encountered many communication difficulties, solving cellphone SIM card problems, suggesting good restaurants when we were on our own, etc.

The astronomical tour was amazing. Morita, the guide, and driver provided snacks and wine for us. I tasted the best red wine I ever had. The photographer was very nice, who took extra Milky Way pictures for us, and help me photographing Milky Way with my own camera. I was so happy that I took good Milky Way pictures for the first time.

Baltinache Hidden Lagoons tour and Valle De La Luna tour are unique, and the guides organized tours and timing very well. The sunset at Valle De La Luna is so beautiful. Sandboarding in the Atacama Desert was a lot of fun for beginners like us. We managed doing it and got exhausted.

Hike to Mirador Base Torres del Paine was definitely the highlight of this trip. It was once a life time physical challenge to us for 60-year-old people. We are so proud of ourselves that we did it by our own pace and back to parking lot before dark. It was 14 miles hike to high elevation. Here, I would suggest that similar age/physical condition tourists be considered grouped together for better safety.

Torres del Paine National Park Panoramic Tour, and Navigation Excursion/Serrano Glacier and Patagonia Lunch were very worth to have, especially after trekking to Mirador Base Torres del Paine, because they were much easier physically. I really liked the BBQ lamb for the lunch, the best lamb dish I had.

We only arranged our 18 day trip to Chile four weeks beforehand and with Ana's help we steadily built an itinerary which we constantly tweaked and updated until we were completely comfortable with our final choice
Our trip included 3 internal flights, one of which we changed 14 hours prior to departure, 5 excellent hotels, a hire car and several drivers and guides. The whole trip worked like clockwork and the punctuality of our drivers and guides was exemplary.

Lorena and Valentina were absolutely fantastic! They answered all my questions (from silly to logistics) quickly and helpfully. Lorena especially ensured my trip was unique to my interests and found fantastic guides and tours. She also built in rest days, which I appreciated. My KimKim experience felt very catered and the specialists were invested in me having a great time! I would highly recommend - especially for any solo female travelers.
