Bubble Hotel, Golden Circle

The geysers of Geysir and Strokkur are an hour away, and the black sand beach of Víkurfjara is an hour and a half by car. Reykjavík is just over an hour away, and the airport is 1.5 hours.

The point of the bubbles is to get you as close to nature as possible without sacrificing comfort. Each bubble has heat, electrical outlets, and a cozy bed to sleep up to two, though kids under six can share a bed with their parents. The bubbles are transparent, but they're spaced out enough that you can enjoy your privacy. While there are no bathrooms in the bubbles, there's a main cabin with toilets and showers within easy walking distance. The tree bubble offers something extra special, as it's hanging in a tree and has a view unlike any other. All offer the same view: the night sky above.
