Hicham lead me on this fascinating road trip adventure - designed by Sharon of Immersion Morocco -from Marrakech to the dunes of the Sahara , then back to the Atlantic coast of Essaouira! From the Valley of Roses , up and over the High Atlas Mountains to ride the camel over the dunes to the desert camp.
Unique riads and kasbahs , some luxury , some just interesting!
Shopping and having prepared local food - tangines of every flavor, tailgate picnic high in the mountains, fresh meat and fish grilled just for us!
Local guides in Marrakech, Taroudant, Agdz provided additional back ground.
The Immersion Morocco itinerary was truly that : immersion in the Berber culture of people and life styles, and places from the past and newly restored!

Dean was very helpful with the planning the trip. He answered all my questions and gave great suggestions for small changes need to hotels and accommodating my daughter's schedule with the trip. Also Justin was very helpful on the phone and helped with some aspects of the trip
The Bed & Breakfast accommodations were lovely. We liked all of them except for the one in Glendalough. The hotels were fine too but the B&B stole our hearts.
Our best part of the trip was Kerry, especially Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Town! The views were breathtaking! The people so friendly, the food great! No crowds around this time end of September really helped.

Arrangeywere very goid. Suggestion: west Etosha park- would have loved Etosha village lodge by the gate.

A week is not enough… Said did an excellent job with my request to see Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara. As a last minute change I requested a night in Essaouira and he readily accommodated.
Our tour guide for Marrakech was Abdul, the food tour was amazing. I’m so glad we did it.
And finally, our driver Faysel was outstanding. Most importantly, he is an excellent driver, we always felt safe driving with him. In addition, he was kind, fun and knew wonderful spots for breaks and views. My teenage sons bonded with him and we all enjoyed his playlist. We cant thank him enough for a wonderful week.

Lise did a wonderful job of creating a Paris adventure that has been totally fabulous! Our hotel, LeSix, was perfect in every way - friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, and comfortable room located close to everything we wanted in the 6tharr. Thomas, our pickup & delivery to the airport was polite, friendly and truly an expert driver!

We were more than pleased to discover we had personal tours on four occasions - the Sainte Chapel and Notre Dame (David), the Louvre (Ellen), the Gourmet Food Tour (Barbara) and our drive out to Monet’s home & gardens (Jean) were ALL BEYOND AMAZING. Each and every guide was personable and very knowledgeable.

We actually had a second tour with Ellen, Covered Passages, where there were only four in our group. What made all of these adventures EXTRA SPECIAL is the fact that each tour became totally unique to our expectations. WE LOVED EACH AND EVERY ONE!

Our trip out to Versailles was fun but, quite honestly, after so much individualized attention earlier in the week - we were spoiled and the large weekend crowds were a bit off-putting even though our particular group only had 15. The day was still memorable!

Our culminating adventure was a dinner cruise on the Seine. THIS was the perfect way to wrap up our first trip to Paris. The cruise included a window view, delicious food, a variety of champagne and wines, impeccable service all with lovely tunes provided by talented musicians and a singer. While we did not, dancing was enjoyed by many.

Would we use Kim-Kim services again? ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt. We had never used any such services on our previous travels and I was a bit reluctant to move in this direction of unknown waters (for us) BUT Lise with Kim-Kim did a fabulous job of tending to even the smallest of details, checking in at various points and insuring things were proceeding as planned.

Eight days of great fun - ALL without a hitch, no cancellations, no mix ups, no changes! We had a most memorable FIRST experience in Paris and look forward to making more travel adventures in the future with Kim-Kim assisting. Thank you!

Moulin Rouge is a unique experience but they pack you in like sardines do comfort was NOT a concern to the proprietor - it was tight, stuffy and NOT friendly for an easy exit. Dancers were talented…lighting was quite a glare & somewhat blinding for the audience.

I can't recommend Jorge and the team at KimKim highly enough. We will certainly use them again in future. We shared our priorities with Jorge (we wanted a mix of foodie tours and historic sites) and he proposed the perfect itinerary. We felt like we saw all the highlights of the cities, but nothing felt rushed, because of the very smooth transfers and daily updates/info from the local agent.

The hotels were wonderful and very central. The private guides we had were also fantastic and spoke extremely good english (which was helpful as our spanish is non-existing!). The best part of the trip for us was Oaxaca, especially the last few days where we had a couple of trips out of the city to see the Mescal distilleries, participate in a rural cooking class and visit a traditional textile workshop.

Very good coordination with Amanda prior the trip and the route were customized to what I am seeking. The guides and porter are very friendly and helpful. Although I have to abandon the rest of my trek due to lack of stamina and kneecaps pain, the company helped to arrange transport to the other hotels we have to rebooked. Appreciate the kind gesture and it is indeed a worry free trip. Thank you very much for the patience. Will definitely use the service again.

Our guides were Jesus, Abraham, Bastian and Julio. They were all highly accomodating, incredibly friendly, very knowedgeable, so hardworking and immensely kind. I cannot praise them enough! I very much enjoyed meeting all them, their service made such a difference in our trip. Amanda planned an amazing Itinerary, beautiful interesting lodgings and places full with historical sights yet comfortable. The first 3 night was excellent & I was looking forward to the rest of the stay but due to personal physical issue, we had to cancel the rest of the trip. Fantastic, personalized 11 day trip to Greece.
My wife and I took an 11 day trip to Greece, visiting Athens, Crete and Santorini and had a fantastic trip!. This was our 2nd trip booking thru Kimkim and we came away once again very happy and satisfied. Christos and his team did a great job creating a custom trip to our specific requests and making all arrangements for us both before and during our trip. Their support was invaluable. Though not everything went off exactly as planned, they were always available to make adjustments as necessary and never left us hanging. We would arrive into a new city or village and ask for recommendations for restaurants and they would respond in minutes with suggestions and would even make reservations for us.
Each day was a perfect balance of planned events and free time to experience the local atmosphere. The hotels were each outstanding in their own way. A number of the activities had local, personal guides who added so much to the experience with their knowledge and helped orient us to each area so we could enjoy it so much more on our own.
We highly recommend Kimkim to everyone we meet during our travels and anyone reading this review.

Raluca was amazing!!!! She worked so hard for us every step of the way! She put everything I wanted in the itinerary! She helped us when we had a couple of bumps in the road. She took very good care of us and made us felt safe and taken care of! The guides she picked for our tours, Christi and Alexandru were outstanding! They were so knowledgeable and kind! Terry was absolutely incredible! We could not have imagined a more magical time in Iceland. The entire process was effortless. We simply told Terry what we wanted, and she put EVERYTHING together. From the restaurant recommendations to the hotels to the excursions - it was truly perfect. I have never had a vacation run so smoothly and seamlessly, nor have I ever had as much fun. My husband and I could not have asked for anything more from Terry and the Kim Kim team!

The overall planning and booking experience with KimKim was excellent except the first appointment call. When I showed my interesting in KimKim trip, I was asked to book a 15min time slot to talk to a local (California) person. And I found this person has no value added. I asked many questions in the call and none was answered. I would have given a 5 stars if there is no such an annoy call.

The KimKim payment and communication system are very convenient. All the communications and attachment are well kept in the system and easy to read. The response from Ngima is incredibly fast and accurate. Nigma answered our questions with patient and with no nonsense. His expertise and knowledge provided me a trustworthy feeling.

KimKim assigned a local driver Lhakpa to us. Lhakpa has very fluent English. Lhakpa drove us to and from airport and also during our sightseeing tours in Kathmandu. He gave us a very nice overall introduction of Nepal and Kathmandu. He was also a good photographer and knew the "should not miss" photography spots.

The most important person in this trip is no doubt our Sherpa guide, Furba. I would like to show my deepest appreciation to him to make this trip safe and memorable. He is responsible, knowledgeable, and considerate. He spotted wild animals to us, for example Himalayan tahr. He pointed and named every peaks to us during the entire trip. Due to the unstable weather, he had to modify our itinerary from day to day to optimize the trip. He also tried his best to accommodate all our requests during the entire trip. For example, we requested to have single rooms for both of us. He told us in some remote village the availability is very limited and because of the high demand, a single supplement might not possible, but he will do his best. At the end, we had single supplement on every nights in our trip. Furba has done an excellent job.

The last person I would to mention is our porter, Lhakpa. He has taken good care of our luggage, especially during a few raining days.

The mountain scenery is the best in the world. The images of the peaks, Mt Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, Cholatse, Tabuche, etc., are imprinted in my brain. However, the most critical part of this trip is the persons provided the service to you. Thank you again for the persons I mentioned above.

The hike from Namche to Hotel Everest View was very pleasure. It was very impressive of the Namche town viewed from above on the trail to Hotel Everest View. The close up views of Mt Everest, Lohtse, and Ama Dablam are unforgettable.

Abraham who met us when we arrived in Lima was very helpful. He showed around Lima and answered all our questions and provided whatever we needed.

Bastien who took us to Inotawa Lodge was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the Amazon. Whenever you asked a question about a plant, animal he had the answer. He took really good care of our group.

Julio met us at Cusco was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the Incas. His funny antidotes when telling a story which relates to the history of the region made it so much more interesting to following along.

Sonia was very helpful in booking the trip and balancing everything we did so we didn't feel rushed. It was the trip of a lifetime for me!!
Daniella was our local concierge and made sure our trip went smoothly from day to day. She made a last minute change for us on a travel day so we could be in Florence an hour earlier! She was very friendly and helpful.
The drivers that picked us up for our transfers and tours were very nice for the most part. Rosanna especially was really wonderful! She was personable and picked us up on time from the airport and took us to Sorrento. The drivers like Luigi and Carmino were very knowledgeable and kind and spoke English really well!!
The tour guides were also very knowledgeable and had a sense of humor which I really loved. The Tuscany wine tour with Antonella and the Cooking class in Florence with Caterina stand out the most for me! However, all the tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful and again, spoke and understood English very well!
The accommodations for the most part were really great. Hotel Corallo in Sorrento and Hotel Concigliere in Rome were the best! The staff was friendly, professional and helpful.
Overall, it was a trip of lifetime and I was extremely happy with all of the services!!

The person at the front desk when we first checked in was very helpful. The terrace from the room had space and the morning and evening views were pretty. Florence was my favorite city.

The full day for the hiking trip was very good. I think Meghan was successful in selecting the hike that fulfilled my requests (duration, elevation change, length, waterfall).
Augusto is a good guy who is personable and friendly. He answered all of my questions whether it was about details for the trip or about the hike itself including flora and fauna. He was very accommodating, more than happy to comply with my requests or make minor changes to the itinerary along the way.
I only have one criticism. Augusto explained his hiking tour method; he would hike at his own pace and then wait for me to catch up. I agreed to this. I had no problem with this since I was comfortable hiking in the woods and because I needed to hike slowly and carefully.
However, on the return this method broke down. At one point there was a fork in the trail and Augusto was ahead on the trail and out of sight. Remember, these trails do not have any trail markers so at this point I did not know which way to go. I tried one direction but guessed that it was not the correct way. Then I went the other way and caught up with Augusto. I briefly mentioned the fork to him. Then it happened again.
It all worked out fine but a hiking guide should not lose track of his clients.
Again, overall the tour was great. It was a great hike to a nice waterfall on a beautiful day. I would recommend Kimkim and Aniyami to others and I would book with you again.
