Our trip to Morocco was fantastic. Our guide and driver Yassine was engaging, fun and very reliable…we would definately recommend. Our Guide in Fes, Said, was absolutely first rate. Also, Bob in Dades valley was also totally great. His suggestion of a local hike in Boumalde Dades was far superior to the planned hike in Rose valley and should be offered to future travelers.. the hotels selected by Sharon had just the right balance of comfort and authenticity and the balance of free time was perfect. Our time in Marrakesh was enjoyable but we would suggest three improvements: the guides choice of lunch locations ( which we passed on) was a clear tourist trap and should be avoided. We got very little advice on where to find finer shops vs more touristy locations and we decided on our own to visit Le Jardin Majorelle and surrounding area ( it should definately be suggested on the itinerary.

Our joys were many and our complaints few…thank you Sharon for setting up a great trip.

This was my wife and I honeymoon. I have to say that Lucas, our kimkim planner , was absolutely fantastic! Lucas was always available for us and even when on the vacation we questions and Lucas was there to help. He worked with me on every detail of the trip and we really packed on a lot of stuff into our trip. The glaciers were our favorite part in calafate. So beautiful! What was great is that everything was taken care of. Flights, transportation, reservations, activities, tours everything ran like clock work. We wanted to enjoy our honeymoon and not have to worry about details like how we would get from here to there: Lucas and KimKim provided that and we can thank you you guys enough. Thank you so much for the fantastic memories!

My time in El Nido was amazing, and it was all thanks to Leo and the staff at Uncharted Earth! Leo took care of everything and answered all my questions and concerns in such a timely fashion and patient way. I was super anxious about traveling to the Philippines alone for the first time, and because Leo organized everything for me, I was able to enjoy my time there without having to worry about all the little details. El Bacuit Tours was also amazing, and the tour guides who work for the company are so friendly and welcoming. People like Jojo and Mike (and the others whose names escape me right now) were excellent, helpful, and just so nice! The islands and the beaches there were pristine, and the views were spectacular. Tour A and Tour C were definitely my favorites, and I had so much fun snorkeling and kayaking in beautiful clear waters! Also, the staff at the Sea Cocoon hotel was excellent. The hotel was clean, and they provide bottled water for every guest in the room. They went above and beyond to make the guests feel welcome. They even packed me a complimentary sandwich the day I left for the airport! All in all, I would highly recommend kimkim and Leo as the local specialist.

We had a wonderful trip to Peru. The booking process and working with Johanna on the trip plan was enjoyable and she provided the best suggestions. We had some delays due to the airport incident and Johanna was even more amazing to work with during the rebooking/cancellation process. She was always available and willing to help. Our trip would not have been a success if it wasn't for her and Kristy who went out of their way to accommodate our changing plans. A big thanks to Johanna and Kristy from all of us.

Although the hotel's location was ideal the rooms itself were very small and the hotel was very blah. Unfortunately, we happened to stay here on the night of our 25th wedding anniversary and were very disappointed. The light in the bathroom was so dim that we could hardly see anything in there. The front desk staff was not helpful either. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Cusco.

The onset of COVID forced us to postpone our planned 2 week itinerary to Chile in March of 2020 but KimKim faithfully stayed in contact with us, encouraging us to not cancel but only delay the trip. We were apprehensive and concerned we would lose our paid trip but were more than satisfied with the repeated contacts from the company over 2 years of delay. They were responsive and personal in our communication the entire time.
Our guides and drivers were excellent, giving us Spanish lessons as we drove. We learned South American politics, economics and family life from different points of view, depending on who we were with that day.
We were traveling as independent travelers but our tour had us joining other groups or independents on our excursions. We like that kind of plan and made so many friends from around the world.
Santiago-Punta Arenas-Puerto Natales-Santiago-Atacama high desert-Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso was our itinerary. Our favorite was Puerto Natales and the excursions into Torres del Paine, especially the glacier tour day. And at Atacama the excursion to the geysers before dawn was unreal.
Our other favorite wasn’t a planned excursion but a happy independent traveler adventure as a result of meeting a Chilean who lives in Salt Lake City on our flight from Atlanta. He was going home to his family for the summer and invited us to visit in Casablanca. On the last day of our trip we accepted his parents gracious invitation to lunch at their home. We now have a wonderful family connection in Chile and plan to see them in Minnesota. 😊

A combination of active and relaxing areas, great hotel selection, and super high quality activities!
We couldn’t be happier with how our trip went.
We traveled to La Fortuna, Monterverde and Manuel Antonio, and got to discover a ton of wildlife and beautiful forests.

Overall, the tours we went on were absolutely amazing and we have a mostly positive experience. All the guides were great and very knowledgeable. Our guide for canyoning was hilarious and so fun. Our rafting guide did a great job with some inexperienced rafters. The hotel was also amazing - the service, the spa, the pool. I would recommend kimkim to other people overall, but we did have some issues that ended up being ok, but still caused some headache including:
- The emergency line isn't really an emergency line. It took over an hour to get a hold of someone due to last minute travel issues
- One of our tours was expecting 12 people rather than 6. Still not sure if we paid for 12 or 6 people
- I specifically asked for 2 king rooms and 1 double queen room but got 3 king rooms and the hotel could not make any last minute changes due to availability
- We changed our transportation plans for the last day of our trip about a week in advance but something happened and the company still showed up at the original time and seemed to be unaware of the change

Overall we experienced some inconviences, but our tours were amazing and we will remember them for a long long time!

Our trip was planned perfectly. Every detail every driver was courteous and timely. Leandro was absolutely fantastic. He would ask is if we wanted more or less time at different stops and was incredibly knowledgeable.
This was our first experience with Kimkim and we will always use this service! Already recommending to friends

Our time in Egypt was spectacular (because of the incredible sights) however we had a poor experience with our tour guide. There was a constant feeling of being asked for tips on every stop and we were scammed into paying more money for two add-ons to our trip. We raised this with our guide and then with the Egypt Promotion team and the reception was mediocre at best. We then spoke to Sabrina from KimKim, who helped provide a refund in the areas where we were taken advantage of and where services were not provided. Overall, we left our time in Egypt with a poor taste for the tour company and wouldn't work with them again.

Touring Morocco is an amazing experience! Our English speaking guide, Karim, proudly showed us so many aspects of his country. Over 10 days we visited beautiful Chefchaouen, ( the blue city), the wonderful medina of Fez, drove through stunning mountains and gorges, shopped in the markets of Marrakech and highlight of all - rode camels into the sunset in the Sahara. The desert camp experience is not to be missed! Karim is very experienced, warm, friendly, professional and an expert driver. He was able to give us local knowledge and insight just not found in the guidebooks. Our local guides were also knowledgeable and professional, especially our Fez guide. We thoroughly recommend Kimkim Morocco.

Thanks to Olman, our visit to Costa Rica was truly exceptional. Everything was perfectly organized, the choice of hotels was spot on, the planning was smooth, and we got to experience all the wonders that this incredible country has to offer. We'll use Kimkim for other trips in the future for sure!

Liz and her team did a great job executing the plan without delays or mistakes. We appreciated that when we had some unexpected problems because of two days strike of transportation workers in Peru, Liz and her team successfully modified the plan to get the best possible outcome out of our trip.
We are quite experienced travellers, so we liked that plan was divided to organized visits and also some free time, when we were able to explore around on our own.

The whole trip was amazing, well planned by Ed. Our guide Nik was amazing, really friendly, accommodating, welcoming and really made the trip. Would recommend for sure.

Gideon, our guide was great, and provided excellent service, and should have been consulted when Vivian was developing our itinerary. The micro-lodges Vivian booked us into were not necessarily the best choices for us, and we suspect a conflict of interest. The Budda Guest House in particular was well out of the way, causing extra travel time.
We will write more about this

I was satisfied with everything. Guides and drivers were allways on time. The Andean was very helpfull, too. However, we had to make small changes because of strike and therefore missed some more time in Aguas Calientes. The team arranged all the changes because of strike. I already recomended Kimkim and Liz Karen and her agency to my friends.

Our trip was well thought out and planned according to what we like to do, see, and accomplish. Our guides were wonderful. Franklin at the Arenal Volcano was so passionate about everything nature. Karla at Manuel Antonio Park was great at spotting all of the wildlife. We even stopped the bus before the park because she and our bus driver George, spotted birds, sloths, and monkeys on our way. Jesus and Alexi were wonderful in the Mangroves. Again, so passionate about what they do. Our vehicle served us well up and down mountain roads. We feel like we got a good feel for different parts of Costa Rica...Waterfalls, Volcano, Rainforest, Beach, etc. Our accomodations were on point and all of the food provided was tasty and good quality. We are grateful that we went with Kim kim to plan our trip so that our time was spent enjoying the sites and beautiful country and people. Everywhere we went, things were smooth.

this was very close to the beach but right in the middle of the jungle. Monkeys everywhere. Beautiful pool areas. lovely bar and cocktails. Close to our favorite restaurant....Emilios cafe. We could walk there. Woke up to beautiful bird sounds and some Howler Monkeys. Umbrellas available in the lobby for the guests which were big and nice. We needed them a couple of times and it was nice to have such sturdy big umbrellas to use. Nice balcony off of room to enjoy the jungle.

this was other worldly. If you have not been in a Mangrove forest, it is so cool. We went late afternoon which was pretty nice for seeing birds, snakes, monkeys, etc. Even the bats at dusk were so cool to watch swooping close to the water

This was a great place to see all of the wildlife. Since it is the busiest park in Costa rica, there were a lot of people there. Our guide had 4 couples, which we appreciated in order to see and hear our guide at all times. There were many other larger groups of people. All of the guides were friendly to each other and helped each other spot specific animals. the beach here was busy, so we just walked the beach and put our feet in and saved our beach day for another time.

Visit to Ecotermales Hot Springs

We went to this in the evening when it was dark. I would have loved seeing it during the day, but our experience was very cool. While we were in the Hot springs, we were also in a thunderstorm and rainstorm. We were in the Hot Springs for about 1 1/2 hours and then had a nice buffet dinner afterward. This reminded me a bit of the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, commercialized but a fun night and experience

We loved our guide Franklin. It was just the four of us and Franklin on our guided hike. We learned a lot and loved his description and passion for everything he shared. The Volcano was hidden behind clouds but Franklin was positive we would see it 100 percent as we acsended on our hike. He was right, A glorious site!

From the beginning, Eduardo was so responsive and helpful. He really listened to our ideas for travel and crafted an amazing trip. We packed in so much to our two weeks and all his recommendations were so good. Chocolate making, volcano horse back riding, mountain bike trip, village visiting, textile lesson, ruins, snorkeling…. We did it all! We felt very cared for and safe in their hands. Sebastian was a great bike guide. And Pablo, our main tour guide was above and beyond great. His knowledge and love of local history and culture added so much to our experience. It really helped us to understand and appreciate what we were seeing. We feel lucky to have worked with him on this trip

Snorkeling Tour in the Belize Barrier Reef

Guides were great and knowledgable. So more than we could have hoped for- manatee, sharks, rays, turtles and fish. Great food. And respectful program- they didn’t feed the sharks to bring them in but we still saw a bunch. And they were conscientious of sunscreen on the reef and reminded people of how to protect it.

My husband loves this trip- he said it was such a unique way to see the country. You are right up next to the farms of the locals and using the same trails they work on, so you need to be respectful of being a traveler in their place of living and working.

Day Hike to Pacaya Volcano

Such a cool trip. Kids went on horseback and we walked. Wild to be on top of a lava field (though kids were hoping to see lava) roasted marshmallows from volcanic steam on top, delicious lunch and knowledgable guides. There are kids there to rent walking sticks- bring some money for them, they we’re useful on the walk.

Our trip to Morocco was amazing!!! The itinerary Megan made for us was just what we were looking for. Our driver Mustapha was very friendly and accommodating to our needs (frequent bathroom breaks during the road trip for one). All of the Dars and Riads we stayed were nice, clean and had very friendly staff. Most memorable for me will be our visit to Rissani since this was my first time admiring in person the wonders of a dessert. Megan was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had prior to our trip. There were some changes regarding our assigned driver upon arrival to Morocco but we were able to contact Megan and got things resolved rather quickly. Shout out to Rahim and Abdul from Dar Victoria, Mohammet from our vineyard visit in Meknes, Brahim from Riad Mourzuga, Mohammet our guide in Marrakech and as previously mentioned Mustapha our driver and Megan of course. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!!

Very luxurious considering it is in the middle of the dessert. We did the overnight "camping" after camel ride and it was amazing. Shout out to Barak who made our stay very enjoyable and entertaining.

This is perhaps the nicest hotel I have ever stayed. Beautiful courtyard. We had heater in our room since we traveled in the winter season. It tailors a lot to tourist (buffet breakfast for example).

There were many excursions available and we did at least 2 a day with a lovely guide. Wellington boots were issued for those trips that were muddy. We saw lots of wildlife. and our guide also explained the importance of the various plants to the local population.

The boat ride to the lodge was a lovely way to begin the experience and view the river. The lodge itself was rustic but very comfortable and totally in keeping with the environment. The organisation of the activities was faultless.

Ballestas Islands Tour (Paracas Luxury Hotel)

Our scheduled tour to the island had to be changed at the last minute as harbour authorities suspended trips due to water conditions. We were given a longer tour of the harbour area and closer islands and it was fantastic. Plenty of wildlife and interesting scenery.
